 WHY DO I HAVE NIGHTMARES?

I have at times nightmares. Before, I had never, but nowadays I often spent a few days in a row. They seem really realistic; I’m shooting for example in my foot and I feel a very severe pain. Is it everything you do during the day, if I do not sleep enough? Iris

Daytime feel and think of everything. Sometimes you see something happening, something you are afraid and you feel anxious. Or you see something nice and you feel cheerful. Since you’re awake, you can handle it and are looking for reassurance example to others or are you going to do anything that belongs to your good mood. So you do something with your feelings.

Son sleeping bad because of nightmares

My son of 3 years will not go to bed because he has nightmares. Once he has, he says are dangerous animals to bed. How he does while I do not know. I try to explain to him that there are no dangerous animals. I also try to distract him with fun things. I am very long time to get him to sleep. Then he woke in the night and takes another long before he sleeps. You have to stay with him until he falls asleep again, but it’s so tiring for us. I understand that sometimes works melatonin for sleep, but not sleep. It is therefore pointless to try I guess. Do you maybe have an idea what can I could try?

Apparently there is your son talk of fears that keep him awake at night and / or his bad dreams delivery. To solve the problem, have medicines indeed pointless. In any case it is important to give him as much as possible during the day feel safe. It may be that this is a temporary problem. But it can also cause a persistent existence.

What can you do against recurrent nightmares?

I often have nightmares, even after a normal, fun day. They regularly go on animals such as a tiger that wants to eat me or my cat could talk. There was a time I walked in the park until I was attacked by huge frogs. Sometimes when I wake up, everything the night was still in bed next to it.

In my nightmares always the same pattern: there’s always something with animals, but I do not know why, just because I love you very much animals. Do you advice?
