You know that feeling? The alarm rings and you was just dreaming. Or that you were just in a deep sleep, causing the alarm seemed to go very far. Apparently not sleep all the same. You sleep in stages and they are all unique.

Every night you go through different stages of sleep. One is REM sleep, the famous dream sleep. However, the majority is non-REM sleep (NREM), the ‘normal’ sleep .
