Powernap: What is the best time to take a nap?
A nap or power nap is healthy and can make a world of difference. It is proven that a nap refresh your mind and body amazingly well. Powernaps can also result in situations where you have circumstances can not sleep long. Think of politicians during overnight negotiations or sailors who sail the world on their own. Tips for power naps
There are a few tips when it comes to daytime naps. Your power nap should not of course be the cause why you up at night.
1. No more than 30 minutes
The ideal nap lasts between 20 to 30 minutes. Long enough to dream away from it all but short enough not to fall into a deep sleep.
2. Between 2 and 3 hours in the afternoon
A power nap you can do it best after lunch between 2 and 3 pm. You must already be awake from 7am. Your brains are day by your circadian rhythm after about six hours by nature less alert and that you’ve just eaten your body uses your energy for digestion.
3. Not for those with insomnia
