IS YAWNING CONTAGIOUS?
Yawning everyone does, not only people but also animals. There’s been a lot of scientific research has been done, but still the function of yawning is not clear.
What is clear now is that yawning is contagious. You know probably, when someone else yawns, begin to yawn spontaneously with yourself. American researchers have discovered that most likely greatest in young people. During their investigation shed they found a link between yawning and age. For this study the scientists showed 328 subjects aged 18 to 38 years to do a test.
The subjects were asked three minutes to watch a film in which much was gaped. Participants under 25 years began to yawn with 80 percent. Of people over fifty yawned only 40 percent of them. Why is this so? Fatigue and the location proved the researchers do not affect. The test was conducted because at home or in a laboratory.
Many scientists are convinced that empathy and compassion play a major role in his contagious yawns. But this US study they found no link to that.
Did you know that a shed of family and friends catchier works than from strangers? The reason is still unknown. Researchers at least go steadily with the unraveling of all the riddles about yawning.
